Parent Events
Chapel
At Imago, we begin every school day with Chapel, encouraging one another through the reading of Scripture, and singing of hymns and spiritual songs. On Wednesdays, we gather for an extended Long Chapel featuring a special message from a local pastor. Parents are warmly invited to join us for Chapel any day of the week at 8:15 a.m.
Coffee Hour
Coffee Hour offers parents, grandparents, and caregivers an opportunity to gather over coffee and baked goods for fellowship and fruitful discussion. Coffee Hour is held on select Mondays following Chapel at 8:30 a.m., or on Thursdays at 11:00 a.m.; please check the school calendar to confirm upcoming dates and times.
Parents Literature
Parents Lit, a long beloved Imago tradition led by Imago co-founder Linney Dey, offers parents a taste of how our students are taught to enjoy and understand classic literature, with a particular affection for the works of C.S. Lewis, while cultivating wonder and community along the way. Parent Lit meets on Fridays at 8:35 a.m. following Chapel.
Parents in Prayer
Parents in Prayer, led by Imago parents, gathers on Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m. to make our requests known to the Lord with thanksgiving! Together, we pray for our school, students, families, and communities, spurring one another on in faith and prayer.
IHS Parents Nights
Imago Talks
On scheduled dates, Imago Talks invite parents, friends, neighbors, and the greater community to gather for an evening or a Saturday morning to be fed, encouraged, and transformed by the renewing of their minds. Imago Talks seek to equip and encourage our community and beyond through engaging speakers and relevant topics on raising children, the Christian life, and the pursuit of goodness, beauty, and truth. Volunteer Opportunities
There is no better way to get to know Imago than to roll up your sleeves and work alongside us! In the spirit of L’Abri, we believe that shared work is part of shared life, creating opportunities for genuine fellowship, conversation, and community. Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are invited to contact the office to learn more about volunteering.
The Imago School is a classical school for grades Pre-Kindergarten through 10th and growing, deeply rooted in the Christian Tradition of classical education. The Imago School is located in Maynard, Massachusetts, and was founded in 1980.
